A upcoming rap girl duo are the new stars in the rap genre. These girls are the first girl duo to ever hit platinum within eight weeks, eight weeks later everyone is wondering how they still done it.
TB are running the rap game as if they've been in the game for over a decade.
Teyana in TB said 'We can only thank God because God is the only reason why we made it here'
We asked the two girls how they made it this big so quick and if they're scared of dropping and becoming a one hit wonder.
Beatriz in TB told us that 'How can we only be one hit wonders? We're here for a reason, we're here to change up the season, we ain't going no where'
Everyone in the rap industry is surprised to see this happen because they're females. Music Producer T-Beatz said 'These girls have changed the system, certain niggas wondering if these females are really females son'
We asked TB the reason behind the name and they said 'We're called TB because we're sick..like TB'
Both girls coming from the projects in New York, Teyana wanting to be a video vixen and Beatrice wanting to be a doctor, these girls had no idea they'd end up this high in the rap game. At the age of 15, both Beatriz and Teyana met inside a school detention class. Beatriz said 'She started making beats and they were dope, I drop one line she dropped the next and we clicked just like that'
These girls have come from a school detention class to planning their world tour for their newest album 'DETENTIONS CANCELLED' we asked why their first album is labelled that specific label and Teyana said 'Well I came from detention to making 6 figure digit dollars, is detention really still happening to me?'
Teyana coming from an African American background she knew about the dilemma of African american artists in the music industry - one hit only artists and she really wanted to push herself away from that image, she wanted people to know she was there to stay.
Beatriz being from a Asian background, she wanted to prove to people, just because she's Asian doesn't mean she doesn't have a story to tell.
We asked the Duo girls how does it feel to be the first interracial rap duo and they answered 'We're just like Salt and Pepper, however we have more than salt and pepper in our bowl'

Colour
The colour scheme is pink which links with the artist being female. The writing is in black which shows that the magazine may want readers to find the article professional and to read in depth.
Lay Out
The lay out contains invisible columns which allows it to be easier to read. Also each section is broken down by numbers which allow the article to have different sections.
The image is in the centre which shows that Nicki Minaj is the centre piece of an the article.
The writing in bold allows you to know the name of the artist and who it is about.
Model
The models clothing goes very well with the lay out, as it is simple but also bizzare this describes Nicki Minaj as a character she's simple but can be simple.
Language
The language used is very formal and descriptive, however the language is not boring. This allows the readers to be informed and to also be entertained by the article
